Growing up in an open home and being exposed to entertaining has definitely impacted my lifestyle as an adult. As much as I enjoy going out and embarking on adventures, I feel that there is something very special about inviting loved ones into your home and providing a special meal. During my "funemployment," I made extra time for special gatherings, and many times, those gatherings became theme parties. I created my own themed recipes, made my own decor and often just celebrated being a fan. Whether by way of a craft night, Harry Potter party or hot cocoa night, I have thoroughly enjoyed developing my own creative way of entertaining.
